This was a big project I worked on last term for demo reel. I wanted to do something that showcased everything I learned at gnomon. I had originally planned to finish this in two terms but managed to finish it by the beginning of this term. I was heavily inspired by the Muscovite Architecture from Moscow, more specifically from Saint Basil's Cathedral. I was going for a more surreal like fantasy environment, where the inhabitants of this town are human like beings obsessed with galaxy, and the Cathedral is a place of study for all the inhabitants. Pretty much everything in the scene aside from the foliage (excluding the trees and bushes) were made from scratch. I also had a lot of fun playing around with vfx in unreal which is quickly becoming a big interest of mine! The whole scene runs in the 60-65 fps range with Ray-Traced Reflections enabled!
